Santa Fe Family Service, formerly known as Alta Loma Family Welfare Service, was founded in July 1967.  In February 1974, the name changed to Santa Fe Family Service.  Santa Fe Family Service is considered a non-profit, 501c3 organization.  The agency is funded by the Santa Fe community, businesses, churches, and individuals.
