Santa Fe Family Service, formerly known as Alta Loma Family Welfare Service, was founded in July 1974.  In February 1977, the name changed to Santa Fe Family Service.  Santa Fe Family Service is considered a non-profit, 501c3 organization.  The agency is funded by the Santa Fe community, businesses, churches, and individuals.
